Let The Words Flow
I wish I would have kept myself organized enough to know where I put Kitty's poem. She was a colleague in the 1996 Summer Institute, and her poem about the afterlife, vis-a-vis one unfortunate frog, is one of my favorite poems ever.
If we had been blogging, her poem would be neatly archived, retrievable with just a couple of mouse clicks.
Beyond Kitty's poems there have been discussions I wish were saved for posterity, or as grist for the mill of my professional thinking: "What Makes Good Writing", "Are There Any Main Characters in Literature Who Are Completely Without Reedeming Qualities" (turns out Dan Holt thinks Humbert Humbert, the protagonist from Lolita, fits that description), "How Do You Get Kids to Take Editing Seriously", etc., etc,...
Anyhow, there has been so much good writing and thinking shared over the years, it's a shame we haven't been blogging together before now more regularly.
Well, it's time. Join this blog. Contribute. Join the conversation.
